Hi my name is Greg Russell and I'm a web developer.
My focus in web development revolves around compatibility, ease of use, and standards compliance. For instance, how many times have you been locked out of a website because of your choice of browser or operating system? This should never happen. Not only does it have to work in all major browsers, but it should look the same, or at least look as close as possible (sometimes even in Internet Explorer 6). This is what I do. Actually, that's not all that I do. I can also build you a website from scratch, from an existing site that uses antiquated technologies, or even from a Photoshop file. Do you already have a designer? Great! I can implement their visual style to fit in with the modern web world. I use only the finest open source software in constructing websites, including PHP, MySQL, Apache, Ubuntu, and more.
When I'm not hacking away at a project or reading up on documentation I can be found enjoying art, music, food, camping, or any of the many pleasures of the city of Seattle where I've resided since moving from Ohio in 2007.

Lincoln Leopard Films is a side project of the boss at LT-Creative. This site is written in PHP using Zend Framework, MySQL, jQuery, xHTML, and CSS developed from a Photoshop .psd file. Features include snazzy jQuery visuals, HD video playback, mp3 streaming and a nifty database schema for easy updating.
Seattle's best wedding DJ wanted a site that looked like a magazine, which was excellently pulled of by the designers at lt-creative. Features include Ajax pages and forms, Blog with RSS content aggregation, interactive map, and a full featured custom CMS.

This playful company's website was designed by Blank Space on the Wordpress platform. My contributions include CSS styling, jQuery scripting, browser compatibility and writting a custom script to upload a CSV list of their store locations to the Store Locator wordpress plugin.
This new social networking site was developed by LT-Creative for their clients. I was added on to aid in the site deployment and continually as a maintenance developer doing bug fixes and feature requests. I did these tasks by navigating the large code base and editing the necessary PHP, MySQL, Javascript, HTML, and Smarty Templates.
I updated this site from LT-Creative to use moderm web technologies. The main issue that I resolved was to ensure uninterupted music playback while navigating the different pages. Normally this type of problem is solved with a flash based site, however I accomplished it with only PHP, jQuery, HTML and CSS. Other work done on the site was for browser/os compatibility.
One of the earilier sites I worked on, the OSU Chabad site, designed by Blank Space, features a custom CMS, image gallery, and Google Calendar integration. I wrote the site in PHP, MySQL, HTML, and CSS.
Mashcard ( Mashup + Flashcard = Mashcard) is one of my current side projects that I work on in my spare time. It is still in an very early beta and nowhere near feature complete, but is shaping up to be a cool learning tool. The goal of the site is to provide a place to make and use sets of flashcards for learning various topics. It currenly only has one full set of the 50 US states. It is written in PHP using Zend Framework, MySQL, jQuery, xHTML, and CSS. Features include user registration and authentication, sitewide search, sortable lists, and keyboard shortcuts. This is a simple Calendar I wrote using Object Oriented PHP complete with methods for styling the display and setting the starting month/year. My goal was to mimic the Gnome Calendar applet in use on the Gnome Desktop Environment in Linux. Here it is paired with a simple javascript date and time clock.
